Press-Fit Nuts were introduced into China without an official national Production standard. Over time, industry standards evolved through practical use in manufacturing. These nuts come in a wide variety of sizes, making them versatile for different design needs. They're small, precision-made, and commonly used in electronics, digital devices, and precision machinery. They're quick and easy to install.

How doe Press-Fit Nuts Work
Press-Fit Nuts are fasteners designed for thin metal sheets or sheet metal parts. They're round, with one end featuring serrated teeth and guide grooves. Here's how they work:
1.Press the nut into a pre-drilled hole in the metal sheet.
2.The hole is slightly smaller than the nut's teeth, so when force is applied, the teeth will deform the surrounding material.
3. The displaced metal flows into the guide grooves, creating a secure, locked fit.
Types and Manufacturing
Press-Fit Nut are made of different materials:
Carbon steel (S)
Stainless steel (CLS)
Stainless iron (SP)
Sizes range from metric (M2–M12) to imperial (#2–1/2).
Originally, most Press-Fit Nuts overseas were fabricated by cold heading machines, while Chinese manufacturers produce the nuts by automatic lathes. Both methods produce the same quality, but cold heading production have much higher capacity. In recent years, many Chinese suppliers have adopted cold heading, improving both output and consistency.
