Copper pillar screws are a chassis accessory made of all copper, mainly used for motherboard installation, electronic equipment assembly and mechanical isolation. This type of copper stud has an internal and external thread structure, which can achieve multi-level component fixation and electrical isolation.

Basic types include
Round head internal thread copper pillar: one end is a round head design, the other end is an internal thread

Single-pass copper stud: a through-type design with external threads at both ends

Internal and external thread isolation pillar: a transition connection design with internal thread at one end and external thread at one end

How to use
Motherboard installation application:
First, determine the installation position: mark the corresponding points on the chassis bottom plate according to the motherboard hole position

Fix the copper pillar: For the round head internal thread type, the round head is facing down, and the external thread end is screwed into the chassis bottom plate; for the single-pass type, any external thread end can be screwed into the bottom plate

Motherboard positioning: Align the motherboard mounting hole with the copper pillar.

Fix the motherboard: Use the matching screws to screw into the internal thread of the copper pillar from the top of the motherboard.

Electronic equipment assembly
Interlayer isolation: Use internal and external thread isolation columns to connect circuit boards at different levels. The lower layer is fixed to the external thread end of the isolation column; the upper layer is fixed to the internal thread end of the isolation column by screws

Height adjustment: Use copper columns of different lengths to achieve precise spacing control between components

Mechanical isolation application
Electrical isolation: Use the conductivity of copper to achieve grounding or signal shielding
Vibration buffering: Copper material can provide moderate vibration damping

Precautions
Torque control: Use appropriate force to tighten to avoid copper thread slipping
Anti-oxidation treatment: It is recommended to apply antioxidants in long-term exposure environments
Size matching: Ensure that the length of the copper column is suitable for the application scenario to avoid being too short to fix or too long to cause interference

Maintenance suggestions
Regularly check the tightening status of the copper column. If oxidation or thread damage is found, it should be replaced in time. Use appropriate tools to avoid damaging the copper column during disassembly.

These copper column screws are widely used in the assembly of precision electronic equipment because of their excellent conductivity and mechanical properties. The correct use method can ensure the stability and service life of the equipment.
