1. Product Overview

Material: 304 or 316 stainless steel, with excellent corrosion resistance
Thread specification: M2 metric thread

Structural features: Both internal and external thread structures

Head design: cut a slot

2. Applicable scenarios: assembly of precision instruments and equipment, fixing of electronic components, and micro-structures that require internal and external thread connections, as well as fastening requirements in humid and corrosive environments.

3. Usage method

Installation steps: First confirm that the thread specifications of the connected parts match the screws, then prepare a slotted screwdriver of the appropriate size, and then clean the threaded parts to remove impurities.

External thread connection: Align the external thread of the screw with the internal thread hole of the mother part, rotate the screw clockwise until it cannot be twisted by hand, and then continue to tighten it with a slotted screwdriver.

Internal thread connection: After the external thread part is fixed, screw the matching bolt into the internal thread part of the screw, and finally adjust the tightening degree as required.

Disassembly steps: First, use a matching slotted screwdriver to rotate counterclockwise. If rust is encountered, you can use a rust remover first. When disassembling the internal thread part, pay attention to keeping the external thread part stable.

IV. Precautions

Torque control: The maximum torque does not exceed 0.3N·m. Overtightening may cause thread slippage or damage to the slot.

Anti-loosening measures: It is recommended to use thread glue to fix in a vibrating environment, and it can be used with anti-loosening washers

Special treatment

It is recommended to choose 316 stainless steel in a high-salt spray environment

Check the tightening status regularly to prevent loosening

Tool selection

A screwdriver that fully matches the slot must be used

An inconsistent tool size will cause damage to the slot

V. Common problem handling

Slippage treatment: For slight slippage, use a rubber pad to increase friction. For severe slippage, use a micro tap to repair the thread.

Slot damage: You can use a small cutting tool to re-slot or use a small needle-nosed pliers to rotate and disassemble.

Rust treatment: Drop a loosening agent and soak for 10-15 minutes, tap and vibrate gently before trying to disassemble.

VI. Storage Recommendations

Store in a dry environment, separate different specifications to avoid confusion; apply anti-rust oil for long-term storage. Proper use and maintenance of stainless steel internal thread M2 internal and external thread cut flat non-standard screws can ensure connection reliability and product service life.
