Non-standard double-head design: threads at both ends, used to connect the shim and the tool bar, suitable for non-standard or special size tool grooves.
Function of the shim: support the blade, disperse the cutting force, and ensure positioning accuracy.
II. Usage steps
Pretreatment: Clean the tool bar threaded hole, shim and screws to avoid iron filings or oil stains affecting the tightening. Check whether the thread is intact to prevent thread slippage.
Screw selection: Select the corresponding screw according to the threaded hole specifications of the tool bar and shim.
Installation steps
Step 1: Screw the shorter end of the screw into the tool bar threaded hole, manually pre-tighten it, and use a wrench to tighten it to 70% torque.
Step 2: Place the shim, align the other end of the screw, and manually screw it into the shim threaded hole.
Step 3: Tighten with a torque wrench according to the standard to avoid over-tightening and thread damage.

Check whether the shim fits tightly with the arbor without shaking. Test run the machine tool to observe whether there is any abnormal noise or looseness during cutting.
III. Precautions
Torque control: Be sure to tighten according to the standard torque. Overload may cause screw breakage or shim deformation.
Thread matching: Non-standard screws must ensure that the threads at both ends match the hole positions completely to avoid forced installation.
Regular maintenance: Check the tightening status of the screws every 8 hours, especially under heavy cutting conditions.
IV. Common problem handling
Screw slip: Replace with a new screw and check whether the threaded hole is damaged.
Shim offset: Re-disassemble and ensure that the screw is screwed in vertically.
