304 stainless steel cylindrical head hexagon washer combination screw is a commonly used fastener, suitable for occasions that require corrosion protection, aesthetics or medium-strength fastening. The following is a detailed description of its use.

1. Component structure
Cylindrical head hexagon screw: The head is cylindrical, with a hexagonal hole on the top, made of 304 stainless steel, corrosion-resistant but lower in strength than carbon steel.

Pre-installed washers: Usually flat washers or spring washers, integrated with the screw to avoid loss.
Function: Disperse pressure (flat washers) or prevent loosening (spring washers).

2. Usage steps
Preparation
Tools: Wrench that matches the size of the hexagonal hole of the screw
Inspection: Confirm that the screw and washer have no burrs or deformation, and the thread is clean and free of impurities.
Matching hole position: The hole diameter of the connected part needs to be slightly larger than the screw diameter.

Installation process
Alignment: Insert the screw vertically into the hole of the connector, and the washer surface is close to the contact surface.
Pre-tightening: Use the hexagonal wrench to rotate clockwise until the washer is slightly compressed.

Final tightening: After tightening manually, use a wrench to rotate 60°-90°.
Note: 304 stainless steel is soft, and over-tightening may cause thread slippage or thread damage.
Anti-loosening treatment: If higher anti-loosening performance is required, additional thread glue or double nuts can be added.

III. Precautions

Material restrictions: Avoid using in scenes > 400℃ or high-load occasions. It is recommended to use 316 stainless steel or high-strength alloy steel instead.

Anti-corrosion maintenance: Check regularly for chloride ion corrosion and clean the surface if necessary.

Disassembly tips: If the screw is rusted, spray WD-40 to lubricate it and tap it lightly before tightening to avoid violent disassembly that may cause the hexagon socket to slip.

IV. Common problem solving
Washer rotation: The combined washer should fit the screw tightly. If it is loose, it needs to be replaced.

Head slippage: Use a high-quality wrench to ensure that it is fully inserted into the hole; if it has slipped, try using a rubber pad to increase friction.

Through standardized operation and reasonable maintenance, 304 stainless steel combination screws can take into account both aesthetics and functionality, and are suitable for most fastening needs in mild to moderate corrosive environments.
