1. Different composition

1. Expansion bolts: Expansion bolts are composed of countersunk bolts, expansion tubes, flat washers, spring washers and hexagonal nuts.

2. Expansion screws: They are composed of screws and expansion tubes. The tail of the screw is conical, and the inner diameter of the cone is larger than the inner diameter of the expansion tube.

2. Different applications

1. Expansion bolts: Pipe supports/hangers/brackets or equipment can be fixed on walls, floors, and columns.

2. Expansion screws: Expansion screws have small drilling holes, large pulling force, and are exposed flat after use. If not used, they can be removed at will. The advantage of keeping the wall flat is significant, and they are widely used in various decoration occasions.

3. Different performance levels

1. Expansion bolts: The principle of expansion bolts is to drive the expansion bolts into the holes on the ground or wall, and then tighten the nuts on the expansion bolts with a wrench. The bolts move outward, but the metal sleeves outside do not move. Therefore, the big head under the bolt expands the metal sleeve to fill the entire hole. At this time, the expansion bolts cannot be pulled out.

2. Expansion screws: Use the wedge slope to promote expansion and produce friction grip. One end of the screw is threaded and the other end has a taper. The outside is wrapped with an iron sheet (some are steel pipes), and half of the iron cylinder has several cuts. Put them together into the holes drilled in the wall, and then lock the nut. The nut pulls the screw outward and pulls the taper into the iron cylinder. The iron cylinder is expanded and then tightly fixed to the wall.
