On August 8, 2025, the 2025 Hardware Enterprise Innovation Summit was held in Yongkang, Zhejiang. Hosted by the China Hardware Products Association, the summit, themed "Intelligent Drive, Green Innovation," attracted over 300 industry-leading companies to discuss and negotiate the path for transformation and upgrading in the hardware industry.
At the summit, several companies showcased innovative products, including smart locks, eco-friendly coating tools, and AI-powered quality inspection systems. Among them, a leading brand's "Adaptive IoT Hardware System," which enables remote control and energy optimization, won the annual Gold Innovation Award. Experts noted that R&D investment in the hardware industry will increase by 23% year-on-year in 2025, digital factory coverage will exceed 40%, and green and low-carbon technologies will become a key competitive advantage.
The association's head emphasized the need to accelerate the development of a standard system for "intelligent hardware manufacturing" to help China transition from a manufacturing powerhouse to an innovation powerhouse.
