Micro screws are very small but widely used in many industries. They are an essential part of modern manufacturing. These screws can be as thin as 0.3mm to 1.4mm in diameter and are used in:

Types of Micro Screws

Self-Tapping Micro Screws

Used for plastic or non-metal parts.

No need to pre-tap threads-they cut their own.

Different head shapes: flat, round, or countersunk.

Good at staying tight (anti-loosening).

Machine-Thread Micro Screws

Used for metal or pre-tapped holes.

Need a matching nut or threaded hole.

More uniform threads than self-tapping screws.

Why Measure Torque?

Too loose? The screw may fall out.

Too tight? The screw may break.

Micro screws need very low torque (under 0.5Nm).

We use high-precision torque tools (as low as 0.002Nm) for safety.

Common Micro Screw Codes

KA = Countersunk self-tapping

PWA = Round head with washer (self-tapping)

PM = Round head machine screw

PWM = Round head with washer (machine screw)

KM = Countersunk machine screw

PT = Round head flat tip (self-tapping)

BT = Flat head flat tip (self-tapping)
