Dogging Hex Key

 

 

A ring hex key, also called a dogging key or T-type hex key, is a specially designed hexagonal tool that features a ring sleeve at one or both ends of an L-shaped or T-shaped handle, which is used for convenient hanging, anti-loss ,and quick access.

1. Ring hanging design
The wrench has a metal ring (eye ring) at one end, which can be hung on a tool rack, belt, safety rope, or equipment to prevent loss.
Suitable for occasions such as high-altitude operations and assembly line maintenance, where tools need to be frequently taken in and out.

2. Anti-loss & portability
It can be used with a hook, spring rope, or keychain to prevent the tool from being lost due to random placement.
Maintenance personnel can carry it with them to improve work efficiency.

3. Quick switching direction
The eye ring design allows the wrench to be quickly flipped with one hand, and the direction can be adjusted without completely removing the hand (suitable for continuous tightening/loosening operations).

4. Strong and durable material
The dogging key is usually made of CRV or S2 tool steel to ensure high-strength working requirements.

5. Enhanced safety
When working at height, the eyelet can be connected to an anti-fall rope to prevent the tool from falling and causing safety hazards.
When used next to rotating equipment, the hanging design can reduce the risk of the tool being drawn into the machine.
