304/316 K2-K6 high salt spray plastic special fast thread screw (plastic self-drilling screw) is a special self-tapping screw designed for high corrosion environment and plastic material characteristics. Product Core Features
Excellent corrosion resistance: 316 marine grade stainless steel can be used. By adding 2-3% molybdenum elements, the resistance to chloride ion corrosion is significantly improved, which is more than 50% higher than the corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel. It is particularly suitable for seawater environments and chemical equipment.

 

K series surface treatment: K4/K5/K6 models use patented coating technology to form a nano-level protective layer on the surface of the screw, so that the product remains intact after 2000 hours of salt spray test, far exceeding the industry standard 500 hours requirement3.

Special anti-corrosion for plastics: The K2/K3 series uses PEEK and UV-resistant modified nylon, with a water absorption rate of only 0.065%, and maintains dimensional stability even when exposed to humid environments for a long time.

Innovative anti-loosening design: A special nylon ring is implanted on the top of the screw cap to generate continuous friction when tightening, and the anti-loosening effect is increased by 3 times in a vibrating environment; and the double thread design and variable pitch technology are used to generate reverse force when subjected to vibration, achieving mechanical self-locking without the need for additional washers. The unique 30° bevel groove is used in conjunction with a standard spring washer to form multiple locking positions, which are suitable for strong vibration scenarios such as diesel units and high-speed rail components.

 

Efficient tapping performance: The large lead shallow tooth type thread design increases the installation speed on plastic parts by 40% compared to traditional self-tapping screws, reducing the risk of plastic cracking. The cutting edge is treated with low-temperature ion nitriding, resulting in a surface hardness of HRC55-60, which maintains sharpness while extending service life. The patented three-slot chip guide design effectively discharges cutting debris and avoids stress concentration in plastic parts. Enhanced core treatment: Through cold forging and heat treatment control, the tensile strength of 316 screws reaches 800MPa without increasing the diameter, which is equivalent to carbon steel grade 8.8.
